Design Notes
Note 1: This is just one of the drafts for the Mythic Paths. These might change in name or even be added to (or subtracted from).Note 2: Each Mythic Path has a steep cost for entry, be it in lives, components or any other “currency”. Some Paths may need one or more attempts at entry. All Paths will have some form of upkeep.
Note 3: Staff is now willing to entertain questions on the Mythic Paths. Send them to [email protected]
Note 4: As mentioned previously, you can take multiple Paths. However, in order to start a Mythic or Multi-class Path, you must finish the one you currently undertaking.
Note 5: Within each Mythic Path are a main branch and optional branches. These optional branches may be limited to certain alternate or regional styles that change the way the Path works (or bring additional options into play). For example, the Glacials of the Winter Dragon may have a optional branch that requires the patronage of Ymir instead of the power of the Winter Dragon.
Adept Paths
Primal of the Earth Dragon: By harnessing the strength of the Earth Dragon, the Primal can perform impossible feats of heroism such as turning their skin into iron or shaking the very ground beneath their feet.Ardent of the Sun Dragon: Woe be to those that dare the wrath of the Sun Dragon’s Ardents. Their vengeance burns brighter than the sun and they can radiate steel-melting heat from their souls.
Mercurial of the Storm Dragon: The quickness of the Storm Dragon is invested in the Mercurials that bear its power. Their strikes are as quick as raindrops and catching them is a thing of myth.
Lunar of the Moon Dragon: The Moon Dragon bequeaths its mysteries to her Lunars, allowing them paths and sights that are accessible to no one else.
Glacial of the Winter Dragon: The Glacials of the Winter Dragon share the resilience and the grimness of their patron. Like the winter, they are relentless and possessed of a vitality that seems as unending as the frost and the ocean.
Marksman Paths
Relentless Hunt-master: A combination of superior tracking skills, tactical mastery and an unbreakable will makes this marksman a powerful ally.Sharpshooter Machinist : These archers use high Artifice and volatile Alchemy to take their marksmanship and versatility to greater heights.
Watcher-Sentinel: Guardians and trackers, the Watcher-Sentinel misses nothing — be it a clue or a target.
Astral Arrowmancer: Arrowmancers can glimpse the threads of fate that bind all life, using their knowledge to change Fate or to seal it with a well-placed arrow.
Laughing Tempest: The Laughing Tempest is the crashing storm and the raging whirlwind. They flit and flutter across the battlefield in a haze, as untouchable as the wind and as quick as lightning.
Priest Paths
Sanctified Battle-saint: These Priests are blessed by the Gods of Battle to excel not only in personal combat, but in vastly improving the offensive capacities of their Chosen.Blessed Sanctuary: A faith’s Blessed Sanctuaries are blessed with supreme powers of healing and protection, especially when their targets are Chosen. When they enter the battlefield, they form a bulwark against danger and a respite against pain.
Supernal Philosopher: Charged with bearing the greatest mysteries of their order and of the world itself, Supernal Philosophers are capable of bringing terrible magics to bear upon the enemies of their faith, in addition to twisting the spells of others to their own design.
Oracle-Inquisitor: When a faith needs something found or knowledge revealed, they send forth their Oracle-Inquisitors — Priests granted divine insight and terrifying strength.
Consecrated Anarchist: As secret or not-so-secret agents of their faith, Consecrated Anarchists are given godly powers of subtlety and the capacity to cause confusion in the ranks of their order’s enemies.
Exalted Spellwright: Granted impressive powers of artisanry and craftsmanship beyond even the Sphere of Creation, Exalted Spellwrights are able to create wondrous objects and manifest marvelous spell-runes that can be used by the Chosen of their faith.
Hallowed Bane-keeper: Feared as harbingers of doom and beloved as guardians of safe passage, Consecrated Bane-keepers are granted the ability to inflict horrifying magics upon their enemies and the ability to bring salvation upon those deemed worthy.
Rogue Paths
Night-Prince: Charm and slyness are bread and butter of a Night-prince, capable using their words and their wit to bypass obstacles or to rally their allies.Shadow-thief: To the Shadow-thief, no home is safe and everything can be stolen, even Magic and Shadows.
Fate-stealer: Fate-stealers make their own luck and the world bends to accommodate them, causing magic to backfire and master swordsmen to trip.
Vorpal Knife: The art of slaying is keened to a fine edge by the Vorpal Knife. Deadly poison, minor magics and the severing of souls are all permitted and encouraged by this grim Path.
Jack of all Tricks: Artifice, alchemy, brewery and a mad cunning — these are only some of the tools available to the Jack of all Tricks. Truth be told, Versatility and know-how are the primary tools of their trade, allowing them to adapt and overcome any circumstance.
Sorcerer Paths
Ruinous Destroyer: Possessed of destructive energies, these Sorcerers must balance the energies they use as weapons against their own self-preservation.Flesh-shaper Architect: Flesh-shaper Architects have taking their art to a new level, subjecting themselves and others to permanent “body augmentations”.
Warpsoul Spiritualist: The Warpsoul Spiritualist makes their fevered nightmares into reality, by projecting hallucinations, manifesting phrenic objects or infecting others with weaponized psychoses.

Illustrious Warmaster: The Illustrious Warmaster is a lord of war and a field commander, rallying allies to an impenetrable defense or driving comrades into a relentless wedge. Outside the battlefield, the Warmaster is the leader in negotiations and an able diplomat.
Branded Butcher: The Branded Butcher is a killer, pure and simple. They can add nuance to their strength or subtlety to their tactics, but in the end they march forth and end lives. Worse yet, some of these slayers are said to draw power from unholy sources.
Iron Sage: The Iron Sage is an artist of the highest caliber and their medium is swordplay, communing with the soul of their weapon and spirits of the world around them. Through mysticism and ritual, they perform feats of heroism beyond the ken of mundane warriors.
Witch Paths
Stonesworn Dreadnaught: The apex of the Loci’s mysteries allows these witches their powers: control over sand and stone, iron and plants. This is, of course, in addition to enhanced talents in the areas of craftsmanship, protection and combat.Pacfiic Waveweaver: Beloved for their enhanced healing and protection abilities, Pacific Waveweavers can also flood enemy formations with the might of the tides or wash away the worst ailments with will alone.
Four Wind Virtuoso: The Four Wind Virtuoso has the winds of Midworld at their beck and call. They are known for being able to dance in the air while blasting enemies with lightning and tempests.
Nightveiled Darkener: Blessed by the Wisps, the Nightveiled Darkener is possessed of the subtlety of their patrons. This is in addition to their abilities to affect the spells of others or find knowledge in the depths of the Aether.
