Transmutation Formulae

What is a Transmutation?
A Transmutation is a special action that only Transmuter Alchemists can perform. Using an alchemy laboratory and transmutation formulae, they can change an Elemental Component’s type, turning a  basic Earth Component into a basic Death Component or turning a rare Wind component into three basic Wind Components.

How is Transmutation done?

In order to perform a Transmutation, a character must have the following:

–    The appropriate rank of the Transmuter skill (Expert Transmuter for Complex Transmutations and Master Transmuter for Erudite Transmutations)
–    The necessary Formula on a Wyrdic Cipher or as a Skill on your Character Card.
–    Any necessary components required by the Formula
–    Five uninterrupted, consecutive minutes of Role-playing the Transmutation process at the Alchemy Lab or in Annie’s Inn.
–    The phys-reps of the Components to be transmuted.

After the allotted time has been spent Role-playing the Transmutation of the Component, the Transmuter can deliver the components to Logistics. They must show Logistics the following:

–    The Formula to be used (on a Wyrdic Cipher or on a Character Card)
–    The Component(s) to be Transmuted

After they have displayed the necessary information to Logistics, they will be granted the fruits of their labor: the new form of the Components they have transmuted.
