THE PATH OF THE SUMMONER

 

Tier 1

Requires:

–          0 Build

 

–          You must possess two ranks of the Apotheosis skill.

 

–          You must be initiated into this Path by an Elemental Lord. Entering an Elemental Lord’s court typically requires at least a Pure Elemental Component and a secret ritual.

 

–          After beginning this Path and choosing one of the three types of Summoner (Bright, Dark or Grey) you are forever bound to it. You may only advance in this Path through Trainers of the appropriate Sub-Class.

 

Benefits:

 

A) You may now learn Basic Witch Skills (except for Mastery Skills).

 

B) You gain the Aethyric Envoy feature (see Witch class).

 

C) You gain one of the following Skills below (dependent on your Summoner type):

Bright Summoner: Sybil of Water skill

 

Dark Summoner: Sybil of Flame skill

 

Grey Summoner: Sybil of Earth skill

 

 

Tier 2

Requires:

–          10 Build

–          You must endure at least one month of training (including at least 10 minutes, during an Event) from a Trainer (NPC or PC) who has achieved the level 10 Class Feature for Bright Witch, Dark Witch or Grey Witch

 

 

Benefits:

A) You are gain one of the options below based on your Summoner type.

 

–          Bright Summoner: Whenever you cast the Gift of Healing Waters spell, you heal 5 more HP with it if you also spend 3 more seconds channeling.

 

–          Dark Summoner: When you cast the Doom of Fierce Flame spell, you can turn it into a Wave 3 spell instead of a Bolt spell by spending an extra 3 seconds channeling the spell, she can turn it into a wave 3 spell – she can throw one spell-packet at three different targets (no target may be attacked more than once) and invoke “wave” before each damage (e.g. “Wave 5 fire!”).

 

–          Grey Summoner: Half the AP granted by the Gift of the Shielding Mountain spell stacks with any armor that you wear.

 

B) You gain one of the following Skills below (dependent on your Summoner type):

Bright Summoner: Sybil of Wind skill

 

Dark Summoner: Sybil of Night skill

 

Grey Summoner: Witch-blade skill.

 

Tier 3

Requires:

–          20 Build

–          You must endure at least one month of training (including at least 10 minutes, during an Event) from a Trainer (NPC or PC) who has achieved the level 10 Class Feature for Bright Witch, Dark Witch or Grey Witch

 

Benefits:

 

A) You can now learn Complex Witch skills (non-Mastery only).

 

B) You gain one of the following Skills below (dependent on your Summoner type):

Bright Summoner: Oracle of Water skill or Oracle of Wind skill

 

Dark Summoner: Oracle of Flame skill or Oracle of Night skill.

 

Grey Summoner: Oracle of Earth skill.

 

 

C) Choose one of the Once Per Period Class Features of your Trainer’s Sub-class. You gain that Feature, but you can only use it Once per Month instead.

 

Tier 4

Requires:

–          30 Build

–          You must endure at least one month of training (including at least 10 minutes, during an Event) from a Trainer (NPC only) who has achieved the level 10 Class Feature for Bright Witch, Dark Witch or Grey Witch

 

Benefits:

A) You gain the 4th or 8th level Sub-class Feature (your Choice) of from the appropriate Witch Sub-Class.

 

B) You gain one of the following Skills below if you do not have it yet (dependent on your Summoner type):

Bright Summoner: Oracle of Water skill or Oracle of Wind skill

 

Dark Summoner: Oracle of Flame skill or Oracle of Night skill.

 

Grey Summoner: the Witch-Shield skill.

 

C) Choose one of the other Once Per Period Sub-class Features of the appropriate Sub-class. You gain that Feature, but you can only use it Once per Month instead.

 

 

 

 

 

Tier 5 (Master Summoner)

Requires:

–          40 Build

–          You must endure at least one month of training (including at least 10 minutes, during an Event) from a Trainer (NPC only) who has achieved the level 10 Class Feature for Bright Witch, Dark Witch or Grey Witch.

 

Benefits:

A) You can now learn Erudite Witch skills.

 

B) You gain one of the following Skills below (dependent on what skill you chose to gain at Tier 3):

–          Oracle of Earth: Master of Loci

–          Oracle of Flame: Master of Furies

–          Oracle of Night: Master of Whispers

–          Oracle of Water: Master of Maia

–          Oracle of Wind: Master of Muses

C) You gain a 10th level Class Feature based on which Summoner type you follow (Bright, Dark or Grey).

 

D) Furthermore, you are considered to be a fully fledged member of a Witch Sub-class for the purposes of Teaching others and qualifying for other Paths. You may now learn the Mastery skills of the Witch Class.
