What was your favorite combat encounter this event? Why?

I loved loved loved main mod. From the toughness of facing off against Kaz and his cult to immediately be followed by Dmitri and the court of shadows clearly enunciated the point of this being “Year: Horror.” It was an especially tough for me as a nightkin due to all the silver damage wearing me down to barebones before having to deal with the second wave.

What was your favorite role-play encounter this event? Why?

Tuesday’s training. Being given a parasitic wisp to deal with at the whims of staff made what was ultimately a five minute personal encounter into a wealth of role play for the entire event.

What NPCs did you enjoy interacting with the most? How so?

It’s a hard tie between Sister Iris, Dmitri and the sons of Heavenfall/Kaz. Sister Iris getting to see the first “possession” by the wisp and having to deal with the fallout was awesome. (“I don’t trust you and the word emergency together.” And “Everyone stay outside of weapons reach of Malindra for… for ever.”)

On the other hand Kaz and Dmitri both got similar reactions from me. Just bravado and puffing up to appear more intimidating to two forces who coupd wreck my day in such different ways. It was great essentially haveing two antagonists for the moon.

What mod or random encounter did you enjoy the most? How so?

Avoiding repeating myself, I did enjoy the mod where the Court with Dagmar were attacking  near the fire pit on Saturday. While I didn’t engage in the fighting, it was great to watch and definitely helped engage some long standing grudges with old enemies.

Things are changing rapidly in the town of Freehold, and with it new priorities are revealed. What would your character list as their primary goal?

Malindra’s current primary goal is an even tie between “Becoming a master trader, and ensuring the prosperity of my faction.”

"When you have three, you have three. When you have two, you have two. When you have one, you have none." Night wisp riddle

Want to start off by saying this was my favorite event since join 7k so great job making this such amazing event.

What was your favorite combat encounter this event? Why?

Main mod was my favorite combat this month. Despite the cold, I loved Kaz’s fiery entrance onto the field and the fight that took place with him. After taking the fallen archon down, I hadn’t expected Dimitri to show up with Dagmar and the court of shadows. After being taken down by both Dimitri and Dagmar, I had thankfully been saved by Brother Grimm. While going back into the fight I decided on taking another route and took a piece of Kaz’s armor as I noticed that the Court of Shadows seemed interested in getting back. After both West and I got a piece of armor, we both hid outside in the cold tents to keep the armor out of the wrong hands. Most people had thought I died in battle so was the perfect opportunity.

What was your favorite role-play encounter this event? Why?

The roleplay was very intense during this event. I really enjoyed interacting with so many people. My favorite roleplay with fellow PCs however had to be with Devlin and Valen in regards to Valen’s recent Dragon training that forced him to cut ties with his son. Devlin told Delphie about it and she had felt sorry for him. However when Delphie later saw Valen he talked about kicking his kid out, his uncaring attitude pissed her off to say the least. I enjoyed the tense rp between our characters as it was fun to truly push each other’s buttons with our characters’ personalities.

What NPCs did you enjoy interacting with the most? How so?

    Jaxxor.
It was so great to actually get to speak with him when arrived as part of the Council of Light wearing the armor she took from Kaz. Delphie has heard so much about Jaxxor since she had arrived in Freehold and only witnessed him as a memory in May’s event. Being able to take to him about his Dyed Men training and open up out her own fears had really impacted her to push forwarded with her own training. It was a very pleasant and productive meeting.
Special mentions to Jade who Delphie chatted with lightly throughout event. She defended my honor against the Beatdown Gang when they were toying with Delphie. My hero <3

What mod or random encounter did you enjoy the most? How so?

Friday night when some Freeholders decided to attend the religious ceremony of Sons of HeavensFall. Having Nayash suddenly come out from sleeping to tell them to get out the hell out of Gotterdammerung church had us all laughing. Though when Kaz showed up, Valen took his armor, and the followers turning against all those who wouldn’t face judgement, I had to think on my toes. When they began chasing me and I got to the Inn to see Valen in there, I decided to distract all of them by leading them to the Soulwell. I have to say Delphie is a terrible liar so trying to keep her alive as well as keep the followers away from the Inn had been tough. Especially when they recognized me as one of the Freefolk who ran from them, it got difficult. It all worked out in the end but I was proud of myself to do some more risky stuff this moon.

Things are changing rapidly in the town of Freehold, and with it new priorities are revealed. What would your character list as their primary goal?

When Delphie first came to Freehold, Her priority was to kill the Cazadora of the Labyrinthium and return home to clan Gohrrim. However with time in Freehold, her objectives and thoughts changed. She hasn’t abandoned her mission find the Cazadora but she found things that are more important to do. Biggest thing is that she wants to prove to her Fir’ Bolg and all of her comrades that she more than just blood thirsty Gohrrim elf. She believes that becoming a Dyed Woman will prove that to everyone. I would say she also wants to keep Fir’ Bolg from destroying itself ever since she heard what was said during the Circus in October.

There was an Elfin lady Bright,
The Sun shines fair on Fir' Bolg wall.
And she would marry a Gohrrim Knight,
For Love is still the lord of all.

    1. What was your favorite combat encounter this event? Why?

Syndicate elites. Humanoid OPFOR is hype. Jobert’s spear-toting Assassin/Bloodweaver stood out.  He was doing this quick leg double-tap: Cripple Limb & Ruthless Assassinate for bookoo, and mental response was just “Ahh, that’s cool! Better drop.

I realized there: We think about LARP builds a lot, but we often forget the real-world physics behind the mechanics. That could be food for thought.

    2. What was your favorite role-play encounter this event? Why?

Retreating with Delphie.  There’s nothing like a small-group interaction with good RPers in an IG emergency. We finally got to know each other a bit IG after a while of saying we should, and we accomplished what we meant to.

    3. What NPCs did you enjoy interacting with the most? How so?

CoL.  Learning a skill from Jaxxor was hype, and even aside from the nostalgia high, V’tani and Jaxxor are well-developed characters on their own, and it shows.

    4. What mod or random encounter did you enjoy the most? How so?

Warning Kristoff of the whispers that Alexius and Tybalt are colluding, and that his Labyrinth visit might be less about ‘negotiating extradition’ than implied. He seemed receptive. I’m not where it’ll go, but I left feeling that my interests were aligned with the Kingslayer’s – and damn, that’ll make a nerd feel safe.

    5. Things are changing rapidly in the town of Freehold, and with it new priorities are revealed. What would your character list as their primary goal?

Preserving the Kingdoms.  Pendrakken clout is icing on the cake, and holding high office would be great, but that’s secondary.

Romulus wants to survive and see the world get better. As a player, I get completinist when I like a game even half this much. I want to earn the best possible ending I can. I don’t want to drag out the game past the ten-year if that’s not what Staff is passionate about doing, but I see 2019 as seven months of unlockable bonus content.

This final chapter will be the one West performs best in. Politically I’m getting my letters more persuasive (and with more notice) and being more proactive. In combat, I’m stepping up my ranged and off-hand game, and not leaving the inn without enough spackets for my best shots. And lastly, I’ve told y’all about the prop comedy.

    1. My favorite combat mod was made mod because we defeated Kaz realized he messed up and had Dimitri respectively hand us our asses as a good time even better was when people got left behind and we actually went in to save them Truly a great moment

    2. & 3. Favorite mini mod and character interaction was definitely escorting the Dwarven merchants and then get attacked by cultists I got dominated along with other people and it was a good time because I just got to be evil for a little bit

    4. My favorite random encounter was the cultist the Bears in the Wolves because there was a point where I got down dragged away and had a conversation with an MPC is a wolf just growling entire conversation was growling and it was hilarious

    5. Asch’s main goal is that the world is going to hell might as well find out who the heck he is before hand. And maybe save Freehold, if possible

Ah jeez neglected to do the thing, now doing the thing.

What was your favorite combat encounter this event? Why?

My favorite combat encounter was becoming a roaming ice elemental and stealing another player’s weapon.  We ambushed people who were not ready and downed them all rather quickly.  So a weapon had been dropped and my ice elemental was all “Ohhhh cold steel.”

What was your favorite role-play encounter this event? Why?

My favorite RP encounter involved combat with some dialogue.  As a wild wolf or werewolf, we managed to separate a few players from the group and they were downed.  After 5 minutes we made a mound of Freeholders and we were very satisfied.  Then another player I found, I dragged them farther out of view from the inn and left them in a tebin, making it difficult for healers to find them.  I once did this with Argo and he died, hehehehe…

What NPCs/ PCs did you enjoy interacting with the most? How so?

Shelby/ Delphi and Diego’s characters because on both occasions we caught them gearing up and I stole Diego’s skull staff for 2 minutes before he downed me.

What mod or random encounter did you enjoy the most? How so?

I love them all, I love wandering mods.  It’s great to find a few adventuring players here and there and attempting to attack them.  Players, especially players left alone, who manage to live and evade a group of NPCs is to be praised for surviving said encounters, in my opinion at least.

Things are changing rapidly in the town of Freehold, and with it new priorities are
revealed. What would your character list as their primary goal?

I’ll finally be coming back as Howl, my character’s main goal still involve surviving, rescuing her mother, and finding a way to strip her father’s power away with killing him as last option because of her demon possession theory.

The welcome back was truly my favorite part of game.  Due to unfortunate life things I suddenly, unexpectedly could not attend game for a number of months and it was very uncool with mental health.  I missed my friends, I missed the adventure, the community, and to be welcomed back as I did is unforgettable.
